Printed Salon Capes: Artwork, Fabric & Packing Guide

A distinctive print helps buyers recognise a salon cape; a clear specification makes it possible to reorder the right version. Brand owners, salon distributors and importers need to approve the artwork, base fabric, finished dimensions and packing as separate decisions. A photograph of a floral or animal print cannot establish the fabric performance or the sales-pack quantity.

Start with the salon routine and sales channel

Decide whether you need a finished branded tool for salon use or an original private-label range. For a retail assortment, compare the print theme, product photography and shelf presentation. For a salon programme, also agree coverage, neck adjustment, intended services, care guidance and handling on an approved sample. Specify any performance requirement before comparing quotations.

The Cheetah page identifies polyester, adjustable metallic snaps and a 44 × 58 inch format. CP81539: hairstyle print in polyester taffeta

View Tianba CP81539 salon cape →. Catalogue page 202 lists polyester taffeta, 125 × 145cm and 145 × 160cm, with a water-repellent description. Select the intended size and confirm the performance requirement on the supplied version. Do not rewrite this fabric as pongee or nylon.

Catalogue page 210 identifies the two pongee capes above but does not list a water-repellent claim or pack count for them. A fabric name alone does not prove liquid resistance, stain resistance or suitability for chemical services. These details, the neck fastening and care instructions should be agreed for the version ordered.

Resolve common purchasing problems before production

• The print looks different on the finished cape: approve artwork version, repeat or composition, scale, orientation, crop and placement on the full product. Include the intended logo area and use a physical sample to judge colour and appearance.
• Two quotations describe different products: compare fabric, finished dimensions and measurement points, fastening, edge finishing and the agreed service requirements on the same brief.
• The retail photo does not match the shipment: tie product photos and package text to the approved sample and artwork revision. Check visible colours and supplied accessories before approving sales assets.
• Carton quantity is mistaken for MOQ: define individual pieces, retail bags or boxes, inner packs, carton count and carton size separately. These catalogue entries do not provide pack quantities; order minimum and packing need a project quotation.
• Reorders drift from the original: retain the sample reference, fabric requirement, dimensions, artwork file and packing revision. Confirm changes before replacing the approved version.

Send the selected catalogue model or reference, intended salon services, dimensions, fabric and fastening requirements, artwork, proposed claims, target market, order quantity and retail pack concept.
